Concrete Jungle

My testimony of salvation: Jesus in the Concrete Jungle…

If you ever wonder how souls in the jungles of Africa will ever hear the Good News about Jesus, I promise you, God finds a way to save the lost.

I didn’t know Jesus or the Bible, totally lost In the concrete jungle of Houston, and Jesus found me.

At 26 I met my future husband and knew the relationship was more than an attraction. Our lives were custom made to fit together as a team, he was my destiny. I shared this revelation with a friend and commented that God had a Master plan for my life, everything (good and bad) in my life prepared me to be Ken’s wife. As soon as that thought left my lips, I was  “born again”.  Immediately, I had a vision, a picture in my mind, of my body, dead on an altar, but a new me was alive, standing behind that altar, my eyes were as big as saucers, as if I had always been blind, now I could see clearly.  I was confused about what had happened, I did not understand, but I knew I was different. I felt sin leave my body, starting from the top of my head, to the bottom of my fingertips and toes.  My heart felt enlarged and tender, a hard crusty exterior melted away, my heart was flooded with love. I didn’t know the words “born again” or “saved”, but I was completely changed and I knew it.  Jesus came to me in the concrete jungle, spoke to my heart and showed Biblical truth in a vision. Jesus knew I wasn’t going to a church to find Him, so He came to me. I am forever grateful!

That day, this caterpillar transformed into a butterfly.

John 3:16, John 3:3, John 10:10, Ezekiel 11:19 I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.
